Hummer EV Reservations Will Start At $100

The all-new Hummer EV pickup truck is set to be unveiled on October 20th, 2020. Hummer EV reservations will open at the time of the reveal and deposits will start at $100, according to GMC Marketing VP, Phil Brooks, who spoke to Automotive News.
Believed to be called the Hummer EV SUT (Sport Utility Truck), the Hummer EV pickup truck will be revealed simultaneously online and on television at 8 pm EST. Online viewers can watch the reveal here, while television viewers can catch the action during the first game of the 2020 MLB World Series.
Buyers placing their Hummer EV reservations will have a choice of four trim levels. They will also be able to choose their preferred dealer for delivery. HummerNation.com has no details on exact pricing or options just yet, but we expect to have that info shortly.
Production for the Hummer EV SUT is expected to begin in 2021 at the GM Detroit-Hamtramck plant in Michigan, and those who reserved the Hummer EV will finalize orders around that time. Deliveries should start late fourth quarter of 2021, with the truck launching as a 2022 model.
The all-new Hummer EV SUT will ride on GM’s BT1 platform, a battery-electric version of the GM T1 platform currently underpinning General Motor’s family of full-size SUVs and pickup trucks. It will be available with up to three electric motors providing a maximum of over 1000 horsepower. Maximum range for the new Hummer EV SUT is expected to be approximately 400 miles.
