The long-awaited GMC Hummer EV pickup has been revealed to the world, and reservations are now open. The all-new battery-electric truck is being offered with four trim levels, each delivering different levels of range, power and features. Before spending $100 to secure a reservation, HummerNation.com is laying out each one of the GMC Hummer EV trims to provide the information necessary to make an informed buying decision.

Before we go forward, please note that all photos used in this article are the range-topping Edition 1. Photos of the other three trims are currently not available.
The Hummer EV2 is the most affordable trim level currently on offer. Pricing starts at $79,995, and availability scheduled for Spring 2024.
The drivetrain setup for the EV2 is a dual-motor system with 625 horsepower and Estimated maximum range is 250 miles. The model supports charging on 400 volts.
Taking a step up the trim ladder is the Hummer EV2X. Available starting in Spring of 2023 with a starting price of $89,995, the EV2X uses the same 625 horsepower, dual-motor drivetrain as the EV2, but adds a larger battery to increase range to 300 miles. It also features an upgraded 800-volt charging system, allowing the EV pickup to make use of 350 kW fast chargers. That should provide almost 100 miles of range in 10 minutes of charging.
Next up is the Hummer EV3X, which adds more performance with a three-motor drivetrain rated at 800 horsepower. Estimated range stays at 300 miles, and the EV3X uses the 800-volt charging system that supports 350kW fast charging.
The extra horsepower comes at a price, with the Hummer EV3X having an MSRP of $99,995. It will become available starting in the Fall of 2022.
Hummer EV Edition 1
The Hummer EV Edition 1 will be the most powerful and most expensive model. It will also be the first to arrive on the market in the Fall of 2021 for an MSRP of $112,595.
The Hummer EV Edition 1 is the most powerful and capable in the current Hummer EV lineup, using a three-motor drivetrain capable of producing 1,000 horsepower. Despite the greater power, Edition 1 features the longest estimated range of 350 miles. Edition 1 also makes use of the same advanced 800v charging system as the EV2X and EV3X.
As of this writing, reservations for Edition 1 have been sold out, but GMC is still accepting reservations on the other three 2022 GMC Hummer EV trims.
