LeBron James Presents His New GMC Hummer EV Edition 1: Video

The GMC Hummer EV is here, and it’s stirring up some excitement with an impressive list of specs, features, and technology. Now, NBA superstar LeBron James – who is the ambassador for the new Hummer EV – is giving us a walkaround of his brand-new Hummer EV Edition 1 in the following brief video.

Recently hitting the ‘net via various social media accounts, the new video provides a look at the new GMC Hummer EV Edition 1 in terms of the exterior and interior design, with James highlighting details and a few noteworthy bits and pieces along the way.

LeBron James has been part of the marketing campaign for the new GMC Hummer EV since the word go, starring in various video teasers, commercials and promotional materials since the vehicle’s announcement early last year. Now, it looks like James has one of the very first examples ever produced sitting in his driveway, waiting to go for a drive.

This particular model is the Edition 1, the top trim in the new Hummer EV lineup. Standout features include a three-motor powertrain pumping out 1,000 horsepower and 11,500 pound-feet of torque, propelling the off-roader to 60 mph in just 3 seconds and providing more than 350 miles of range between plugs. The Edition 1 also features all kinds of features and equipment as standard, such as the Extreme Off Road Package and Transparent Sky Panels, as well as exclusive badging. The exterior is covered in white paint.

Pricing for the Edition 1 starts at $112,595, although reservations are now full, with the order books being filled up just minutes after they first opened. Customer-bound units are expected to start arriving in the fall, though it looks like James will now have an opportunity to show off his new battery-powered off-roader ahead of schedule.
