2023 Hummer EV3X Will Be Available With Edition 1 Powertrain

The 2023 Hummer EV3X, the second trim level of the all-electric Hummer EV pickup truck to go on sale, will be offered with the same powertrain as the 2022 Edition 1, HummerNation.com has learned.
The standard specification for the EV3X includes three electric motors with a combined output of 800 horsepower and 9,500 pound-feet of wheel torque, along with an estimated range of over 300 miles. These remarkable figures are the second best for what will eventually be the four-model Hummer EV line-up.
Edition 1 | EV3X | EV2X | EV2 | |

Motors | Three | Three | Two | Two |

Wheel torque | 11,500 lb.-ft. | 9,500 lb.-ft. | 7,400 lb.-ft. | 7,400 lb.-ft. |
Range | 350+ miles (est.) | 300+ miles (est.) | 300+ miles (est.) | 250+ miles (est.) |
Sale date | Fall 2021 | Fall 2022 | Spring 2023 | Spring 2024 |
Starting price | $112,595 | $99,995 | $89,995 | $79,995 |
However, the Edition 1 is even more impressive. Its three motors have a combined output of 1,000 horsepower and 11,500 pound-feet of wheel torque, while the estimated range is over 350 miles. Precise performance figures are not yet available, but the automaker estimates that the Edition 1 will be capable of achieving the 0-60 mph sprint in approximately three seconds.
This extra power and range are partly responsible for the $12,600 price difference between the two versions of the Hummer EV pickup truck: the Edition 1 is priced to start at $112,595 while the EV3Xat $99,995. Hummer EV customers who don’t want to pay top dollar for the Edition 1 but wish to experience its performance will be able to achieve their goal by specifying the more capable powertrain in the second-from-top EV3X. They will not, however, be able to do this for some time to come: the Hummer EV Edition 1 will go on sale in the fall of 2021, but the EV3X will not arrive until a year thereafter.
It will be followed in the spring of 2023 by the $89,995 EV2X and a year after that by the entry-level EV2. Both vehicles have two motors producing 625 horsepower and 7,400 pound-feet of wheel torque, but the EV2X will go further between charges. Estimated driving range is over 300 miles for the EV2X and over 250 miles for the EV2.
