2024 Hummer EV SUV Revealed

The 2024 Hummer EV SUV has arrived, joining the Hummer EV pickup truck with a new sport utility body style.

The 2024 Hummer EV SUV was introduced during the NCAA Final Four with a new commercial featuring narration by basketball legend LeBron James. The new commercial shows the all-electric Hummer SUV streaking to the ground like a meteorite, making impact in a city center before driving out of a crater in the pavement.

The commercial also demonstrates some of the new Hummer EV SUV’s many features, including Extract Mode, which raises the suspension to more easily traverse uneven terrain. There is also Watts To Freedom mode, which unleashes the vehicle’s full straight-line performance potential, and Crab Walk Mode, which allows the Hummer EV to move laterally around obstacles.

“If one supertruck can change the world, imagine what two can do,” James narrates as a cover of Led Zeppelin’s Immigrant Song plays in the background.

Like the Hummer EV pickup, the 2024 Hummer EV SUV will initially launch with the limited-run Edition 1 model. Standard spec for the Edition 1 includes 22-inch premium wheels, assist steps, and floor liners.

The Hummer EV SUV is also offered with the Extreme Off-Road package, which adds 18-inch wheels wrapped in 35-inch-OD MT tires, underbody protection and rock sliders, a front eLocker and virtual rear lockers, heavy-duty ball-spline half shafts, and UltraVision underbody cameras.

All Hummer EV SUV models feature the Super Cruise semi-autonomous drive system as standard.

Motivation in the Edition 1 is sourced from a three-motor powertrain producing upwards of 830 horsepower, which will propel the Hummer EV SUV to 60 mph in just 3.5 seconds. Range-per-charge is estimated at 300-plus miles for Edition 1 models with standard equipment.

Pricing starts at $105,595 for the Edition 1 (300+ miles, three motors, 830 horsepower), $99,995 for the Hummer EV^3X SUV (300+ miles, three motors, 830 horsepower), $89,995 for the Hummer EV^2X SUV (300+ miles, two motors, 625 horsepower), and $79,995 for the base model Hummer EV² SUV (250+ miles, two motors, 625 horsepower). Deliveries kick off early in the 2023 calendar year.
