2024 GMC Hummer EV SUV To Get Power Station System
The GMC Hummer EV SUV is likely to be every bit as capable off-road as its pickup counterpart, especially when fitted with features such as the Extreme Off-Road Package, CrabWalk and Extract Mode. Improving the vehicle’s off-road credentials in a less direct but still important way, GMC will also make the Hummer EV SUV available with a Power Station system.
The most likely use for the generator-like feature will be to power equipment and accessories, which it will be able to do at 120v/25A/3kW. However, it will also have the ability to jump charge another electric vehicle at 240v/25A/6kW.

GMC will be offering the Power Station on the 2024 Hummer EV SUV Edition 1, which is scheduled to go on sale early in the 2023 calendar year, and on the EV3X and EV2X which will follow in the spring. It is not yet clear whether the generator will ever be available on the base EV2, due to arrive in the spring of 2024.
No pricing has yet been announced for the Power Station system. The Hummer EV SUV will be priced to start at $105,595. The Extreme Off-Road Package, one of many options, will bring the price up to $110,595. The EV2 will be the most affordable model in the range when it goes on sale in the spring of 2024, with an MSRP (including destination) of $79,995.
