With the introduction of the new Hummer EV Pickup and SUV, off-roading fans will have a brand-new all-electric alternative when it comes to flexing on the local trails. Right out of the box, the Hummer EV comes with tons of goodies that make it a great fit for the rough stuff, but for those customers who need a little more forward illumination after the sun sets, this optional off-road light bar could be just the ticket.

The new Hummer EV’s off-road light bar mounts directly to the roof just above the windshield, with two supports that elevate it above the trio of orange roof marker lights. The light bar measures 50 inches from end to end, and includes a smoked projection face that looks great.

According to GMC, the light bar is activated with the “virtual auxiliary switches” located on the GMC Hummer EV’s driver information center. The off-road light bar was designed specifically for the Hummer EV, and integrates seamlessly with not only the roof, but also the onboard systems, with the customizable information center making it easy for users to get everything exactly as desired. In addition, GMC says that the kit includes a uniquely designed cover, as well as “provisions to mount small action cameras to capture all the fun.”

For the moment, further information on the new Hummer EV off-road light bar, such as pricing info and when it will be offered, is unavailable.

The off-road light bar isn’t the only Hummer EV optional extra on offer. Other options include roof cross rails, off-road mounted light pods, new badge finishes, D-ring recovery hooks, and more.
