The 2022 Hummer EV pickup made waves when it debuted on October 20^th for its technological prowess, impressive off-road capabilities, and earth-moving levels of electric power. During the reveal, GM only announced the new electric supertruck for the United States and Canada. But now, it appears that a third market has come to light.

According to a recent report by GM Authority, the supertruck will also be offered in the Middle East, which makes sense given that the GMC brand (under which the new Hummer EV will be sold) already does business in the region.

We do not yet know when the Hummer EV pickup will launch in the Middle East nor which trim levels will be offered in that market. In the U.S., the Hummer EV pickup is set to launch in the fall of 2021 as a 2022 model year vehicle. It will then launch in Canada a full year later, in the fall of 2022 as a 2023 model-year vehicle.

In the U.S., the Hummer EV will initially launch in the Edition 1 trim that pushes 1,000 horsepower and 11,500 pound-feet (15,591 Nm) of torque for a starting price of $112,595. Other trim levels will arrive later.

Canada will not receive the same Edition 1 trim as the U.S. market. Instead, the Canadian-spec Hummer EV^3X will have the same 1,000-horsepower motor as the U.S.-specific Edition 1. The U.S.-spec EV^3X is less capable, offering 800 horsepower and 9,500 pound-feet (12,880 Nm) of torque.

In the U.S., the Hummer pickup EV^3X will launch in the fall of 2022, while the two-motor Hummer EV^2X and Hummer EV² will arrive in the spring of 2023 and the spring of 2024, respectively.

Notably absent from the list of markets where the new Hummer EV pickup will be sold is Mexico, which is the only other region where the GMC brand currently does business besides the U.S., Canada and the Middle East.
