Reservations for the all-new GMC Hummer EV pickup opened when the all-new Supertruck was officially unveiled during the 2020 World Series last week. With a deposit of $100, anyone could secure a Hummer EV for themselves. And within hours, Edition 1 Hummer EV reservations sold out.

The Hummer EV Edition 1 is the highest and most feature-laden trim level offered for the all-new Hummer EV. With an MSRP of $112,595, it comes packed with nearly every option available, as standard. Incidentally, Hummer EV Edition 1 will also be the first model to go into production and get delivered to dealers and to customers, with the first deliveries slated for Fall of 2021.

Every Edition 1 will be painted exclusively in white paint, while also featuring a black roof and wheels with bronze wheels.

The only interior colorway is dubbed “Lunar Horizon”, which follows the exterior in featuring a contrasting combination of white and black interior trim with bronze accents.

Edition 1 is also the most powerful version of the Hummer EV revealed thus far. It makes use of a tri-motor drivetrain that produces 1000 horsepower capable of propelling the Hummer EV to 60 mph in three-seconds.

While Edition 1 model Hummer EV reservations are sold out, customers can still reserve all other trim levels of the new Hummer EV, at least as of this writing. Meanwhile, those interested in the Edition 1 can be placed on a waiting list by ordering a lower-level trim, and selecting the option for waitlist ordering. Whenever an Edition 1 reservation is canceled, buyers on the wait list will be offered the chance to upgrade their current reservation to Edition 1 models.

Currently it is unknown how many Hummer EV reservations have been placed and how many of them are for the Edition 1 model. Even so, interest and demand for the all-new Supertruck appears to be strong.
