When the 2022 Hummer EV was revealed late last month, it was shown exclusively in the Short Bed, Crew Cab configuration with four full-size doors. Having seen this the Crew Cab model, HummerNation.com staff became curious about how the Hummer EV would look like in the Single Cab (aka Regular Cab) configuration. Not knowing whether such a model will ever see the light of day, we put our team of digital artists to render the Hummer EV Single Cab.

In creating our the rendering, we tried to stay true to the proportions of the original Hummer EV pickup. So instead of removing a set of doors and lengthening the bed, we shortened the entire vehicle. This makes our render a shorter overall length than the four-door model that will go into production next year.

The shorter wheelbase of our Hummer EV Single Cab render would make the Hummer EV easier to maneuver on tight, off-road trails. Combine that with Four-Wheel Steer and CrabWalk features, along with the six-inch suspension lift, and a single cab Hummer EV might be even more capable than the regular production model.

As far as we’re aware, GM has no plans to build a Hummer EV Single Cab / Regular cab variant of its all-new supertruck, and our rendering is just for fun. In fact, we can’t imagine there being all that much demand for a Regular Cab version given that the Single cab configuration is a dying breed amongst personal pickups.

The real 2022 Hummer EV is scheduled to launch in the Fall of 2021, starting with the range-topping Edition 1 model, which will carry a starting MSRP of $112,595. Three other trims – EV², EV^2X and EV^3X – will become available at different intervals thereafter.
